Learn how to effectively lead a busy trauma team and unit while being involved in all aspects of the patients management from triaging mass casualties, overseeing resuscitations, performing necessary operative interventions under the supervision and guidance of qualified Trauma Surgeons and engaging in and leading the post operative surgical and critical care management of patients until discharge.

Attachments for Emergency Medicine and or Anaesthetists

Have the opportunity to participate in patient assessments and run Priority 1 trauma resuscitations, engage in surgical critical care, and patient management in the trauma emergency department. The opportunity to do anaesthetic calls in the emergency theatres is also available.

Duration: 6 – 8 weeks
